ERD Creates Animated Videos to Empower Youth Education in Iraq
ERD is proud to announce the creation of four animated videos in partnership with Mercy Corps' EJTYAZ Program. These engaging videos aim to reinforce protection and psychosocial support for returnee, displaced, remainee, and vulnerable host community youth, empowering them to access education and build a brighter future.
EJTYAZ: Empowering Youth through Education
The EJTYAZ Program, meaning "Crossing Bridges" in Arabic, is a collaborative effort between ERD and Mercy Corps to address the educational needs of conflict-affected youth in Iraq. The program targets adolescents and young people aged 10-20, providing them with the resources and support they need to overcome challenges and pursue their educational aspirations.
Animated Videos: Reaching a Wider Audience
Recognizing the power of visual storytelling, ERD and Mercy Corps developed four animated videos to complement the EJTYAZ Program. These engaging videos, tailored to the specific needs and challenges faced by Iraqi youth, will be disseminated through various channels to reach a wider audience.
Key Objectives of the Animated Videos:
Raise awareness about the EJTYAZ Program and the importance of education for conflict-affected youth. Promote psychosocial support and coping mechanisms for youth facing trauma and adversity. Highlight the benefits of education and its role in empowering individuals and communities. Encourage participation in educational opportunities and provide guidance on accessing resources. Impactful Partnerships for a Brighter Future.
ERD's partnership with Mercy Corps and the creation of these animated videos demonstrate our commitment to supporting Iraqi youth and fostering a more equitable and resilient society. By empowering young people through education, we can pave the way for a brighter future for Iraq.
