About us

Exploration for Research, Training, and Development (ERD) is an independent consulting firm. ERD is an internationally registered company with a main office in the United Kingdom (registration number: 16811), and a sub-office in Iraq (registration number: .-أ.ش.م15299261.-2). Our presence in Iraq is through a network of national consultants and staff with demonstrable field experience and are trusted within local communities. ERD employs a hybrid model of international technical expertise and local knowledge from the ground which creates an effective means for inclusive and empowering development

ERD provide research and analysis services to help clients make informed decisions. Our research covers a wide range of topics, including baseline, endline, mid-term evaluation, final/end of project evaluation, third-party monitoring, market assessment, social impact assessment, policy analysis, and multi sectorial need assessment. Our clients include businesses, organizations, governments, and non-governmental organizations in the Middle East, with a focus on Iraq.

Training & Development: We offer a variety of training programs designed to help individuals and organizations develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed. Our programs cover a wide range of topics, including business management, leadership, project management, and technical skills, as well as specialized training in governance, social cohesion, and conflict management.

Grant & Proposals: Our experts can guide clients including small-to-medium sized enterprises and local NGOs to write effective and attractive proposals. ERD Grant and Proposals Team may provide this service as an external consultant or as a joint partner/ joint venture.

Human Resources: We provide human resources consulting services to help clients develop and implement effective human resources strategies. Our services cover a wide range of topics, including recruitment, talent management, compensation, and benefits, as well as human resources planning and systems development.

Translation & Interpretation: We provide translation and interpretation services to help clients communicate effectively with people from different cultures. Our services currently focus on translating files and conferences in Arabic and English.
